Glow Baby Glow
the gift of glowing skin
Shockingly, I am not one of those girls who shops the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale religiously. Why? Because I HATE crowds and hate shopping anytime the mall is busy.
Luckily, online shopping has made avoiding the sale crazies a lot easier. Although I am not one to stock up on fall/winter essentials during the sale, I do always browse the beauty exclusives! The reason being, they have really great makeup/skincare sets for good deals.
The sizes are always smaller of course, but considering my non committal relationship with makeup and skincare routines, I find it exciting because I can try brands that I have had my eye on. This way I can also get a feel for the product and see if I'll buy it again.
Case in point, Charlotte Tillbury makeup has really been all over social media these days. I have heard countless testimonials of how great her products are and I've been dying to try them myself. So when I saw that her famous "wonder glow" primer and "magic cream" moisturizer were in a beauty exclusive set, I was sold. I wore it all weekend and here is what I came up with:
I first applied the "magic cream" to my bare, clean skin which is typically really dry, so this helped a lot. Then I applied "wonder glow" to my skin as a primer before applying my IT CC cream on top of it, which is what I use as foundation. My skin looked super healthy and had this amazing dewy, glow. I was obsessed. I feel it added that extra bronze you get on vacation, that sun kissed, natural glow. Now I might be Charlotte Tillbury obsessed!
Another product I stocked up on during the sale was Neulash serum. I had eye lash extensions about a year ago and although I loved them, I was allergic to them for starters and they also made my lashes really brittle and short. So my sister told me about neulash. I started using this serum and man did it transform my lashes in less than a month!
